I jumped onto the "make your own Night Fury" bandwagon with the assistance of a template (credited below) that I heavily edited and then slapped color on.Normally I favor light underbellies with dark tops, but it occurred to me that the name of the species alone suggested that they were night hunters. Therefore, they would have dark undersides to help them blend with the darkness... and then I went a little nuts with the rest of the markings.
Anyhow, meet Tove. He is male, and is not missing either of his tail fins. He was not somehow hit by Hiccup's bolo launcher along with Toothless or otherwise damaged by vikings and miraculously managed to avoid being hunted down. Currently, he is a perfectly wild dragon; he is just kind of there in my head.

wow, by far this is the best looking fan design of Night Furies. I love this one! He looks natural and possible to survive in the night environment! XD

This was originally going to be Shriek, but she turned into Tove instead with all the awesome XD Shriek is not going to be nearly as flashy. Probably like how females are usually much more drab in coloration than males in most species.
