This is wonderful. As much as I love the green, I think it's the purple that makes it outstanding. ^_^

Nice choice of media which yielded a lovely result. Very nice color choices, very well-matched to the background tone. I really like this one. I would like to see something like this with a bit of shading in the background, so that there is some shadowiness between the buildings that brightens as the sky appears further up.

I really like the coloring on this... especially the subtle purple you put into the shadows, it really makes things pop. Is this just on construction paper?

That's so cool! Materials like colored pencils and construction paper tend to be looked down upon by "fine artists" but you can do such cool things with them! I love showing them things like this and watching their mouths drop open. tehehe

Very nice and funny, though I think the green bg it's a bit too dark, the coloured pencils don't have enough importance.

U're right about the green bg, it is dark but I can't change it cos that's the actual color of the paper.

Thank u again for the comment & fav ari!

like the otehr piece of the first one, u do brilliant wit color pencils and shading. got da totally 3d look. beautiful colored shading... aw yes and green paper... i green... *drools like homer simpson*

a little question... you've dealt wit doing what they call "realistic" stuff? just wondering, cus i never seen the "realistc" life lookin stuff, but i see it aint ur style. aint dissin, but im just wondering cus u do a hella great job shading and a well great job doing the perspectives of these architexture pieces.

Homer rocks!

I am truly crap at realism. That's why I don't have any realistic works in my gallery. I just don't know how to do it. I know I do alrite with blending & shading but if u look closely, u will see many of the light & depth in my works are not quite right. And my perspective work is rather wacked too! But I'm trying to get them right. God help me!

And hey, thanks for the fav on this one too!

Crap? I ain't dat great of a shader, but I ain't bad at proportions . How many times have you tried to do "realistic" things? It took me years to where I am. I got the Davey Havok drawings I did from 9th grade all the way up to now (12th grade). Been drawing since I was small though. They still crap, but a progress is made. But, I think if you ever putted yourself to it, you can do it. But you ain't got ta though. Plus, I like how you do something freaky and creative with the real life stuff. Who said art has to be realistic anyway.

I do look closely. It looks iight to me. Plus, ya can't really tell that much since you turned it into warped buildings. I don't really find anything wrong with any of your shadings. But I guess if ya say so. I like it though. you still gave it 3d looks. You better at da 3D depth than i am. my work is flatter than a girl with no boobs.

... Hey, I am off wit he shading too when I draw from ym head. Maybe I just can't tell because there ain't no reference photo junk. but its still really awesome. you're one of my inspiring artistes anyway

I tried realism a few times & I just didn't like how they turned out so I kinda stop. But it's true what u say, if I keep doin it I'll get better at it. Like they all say, practice makes perfect.

And thanks for the support Crys!
