Here is another drawing of my dog. I hope you all like this one as well as the other. Personally I favor the first one, but my art teacher likes this one better.Related content

Is this a purely charcoal drawing? It's very lovely! I love your use of mark making to make the fur pop... it's better than looking or seeing the same old flat, blended charcoal drawings that I normally see. Great work!

This was done using conte crayon using a technique taught to me in college. Basically I would lightly wet a piece of good paper and then tape it down to a thin piece of wood using gum backed postal tape. Then, I would paint the paper with acrylic gesso and let it dry. Sometimes I would use a second coat of gesso to give it a canvas type texture. It's a great way to use conte crayon because it makes the paper a lot more durable for erasing. Hope that helps. Brilliant...Ther other one is a bit better your right but you might actually get a chance to realt this one. I think that great I want you to post more of this utterly incredible pencilwork. Its great. I would love a print of the other one in my wall. How much you want for a print of one?

wow, that is amazing, just as the first was. I think the first would have been a little more difficult (just because of the position of the dog), but this is also incredibly well drawn.
