This is awesome, I love watching how other people colour with copics. I adore the panther fur in this one, the blue-green underneath was a surprise for me so I'll have to give that a go whenever I draw dark fur as it really makes it stand out so much more.

Wow! The colors you used made it so realistic! I've been using copics for a while now and I haven't figured out how to do that. What skin colors do you use? (not specifically on this piece)

Thank you, you are very kind!

I don't have a lot of copics because you cand mix and match them, but my only rule is to have many skin colors, or to use a lot of colorful colors as shading.

My main colors are : E50 (always as base color), E13, R02, E04(this is one of my favorite colors for skintone, I use it every time), RV93(I use it sometimes as a cool shadow but for light skintones) and you can use all the Ws(W1, W3, W5) for shading too. Of course it depends on your theme for the painting, if you have something warm you use light oranges or pinks for the skin and if you have something colder you use light blues(as i used in this illustration, BG10 also one of my favorites), greens and gray . Hope this helped!

If you have any more questions you can tell me and I can make a tutorial on Youtube, I just started my own channel

Okay, thank you! I use E000, E00, E11, RV10, and a lot of purples for shadows (BV11, V22 etc.). I’m working on getting the correct colors for dark skin but I don’t have any of those yet. I’ve just been experimenting because I want to make realistic shadow colors but I don’t really know how. Are there any specific colors for that?
