I've been listening to the Prince of Persia soundtrack on loop. Really want to watch that movie - it looks so pretty. No one tell me anything about it, please!

This is one of my "ideal" afternoons - a relaxed time when you're clean and comfortable, reading under natural light. It's the same girl from my deviation called "Asleep," doing a bit of studying/reading while she recovers from her war wounds. And then the cat comes along and knocks something over.

Time: 2 days' work (~6+ hours)

I Have Issues: Tried out "new" style; sometimes I did flats first and then colored, other times I just blotted colors. Despite my early efforts to keep it a less realistic anime style, I couldn't stop myself from fixing the face. I think it's the nose that gets me. I no longer know how to draw the "L" and leave it be.

Notice also the shoddy attempt at distorted perspective. I'll do better next time.
