Rainer Warzburg is a middle-aged man, taciturn, but extremely short-tempered. In the past, he was the commander of the Ash Legion, (an elite punitive army, subordinated personally to the Emperor himself). There are various rumors about how he left the army. Some say that he disobeyed a particularly cruel order and deserted. Others say that he tried to usurp power, but lost to the current regime and went on the run. But nevertheless, now he is a simple traveling mercenary who takes on any job traveling from city to city. On the heels of Rainer are hired assassins, flattered by the high reward for his head. However, none of the sent ones managed to defeat him
