Jaheem is the eldest and only boy in a litter of three, his birth was both a blessing and a curse. When Zuri had fallen pregnant it was before the prides united and as such some saw her pregnacy as a betrayal while others understood that the heart doesn't care about where a lion comes from it loves all the same.

Jaheem grew up a relatively happy child, he was much like his fathers more positive traits in being a rather kind and gentle lion. He can have a temper at times but understands that he can't always have his way, he likes to hear about his father the lion his mother knew not the lies the other adults make up.

A few of the older lions despise Jaheem and his family, as he is directly decended from Scar many think he will become like his grandfather. Zuri does her best to protect her children but she can't always stop the glares and wispers not even Kiara or Tiffu.

Jaheem adores his aunt Vitani and uncle Kovu, Vitani having a soft spot for the boy as he reminds of her brother while Kovu hopes to pay his brother back by keeping his children safe. Jaheem is part of the lion guard as the bravest a position he was begrudgingly given as Kion doesn't fully trust the boy causing some trouble betwern him Zuri and Tiffu.

Kiara spends time with Jaheem, often scolding Kion for his treatment of the boy as she herself fell for Kovu and knows her brother is still sore about that subject.

Jaheem is a smart cub and eventually figures out why so many in the pride dislike him, he does his best to prove them wrong as Nala is one of the few older lions who cares for the boy as unknown to Jaheem, Nala is his mothers Biological aunt holding royal blood from both Scar and indirectly Nala.
