A deeply personal piece that almost grew off of me :]
Inspired by Ladislav Kuklik
It was amazing seeing all the changes it went through from concept to this. It is still not complete but this is how it looked once I submitted it to a contest. [deadline was today, I "compromised" it however I could but it still doesn't look satisfactory to me]
I've been agonizing over it so long, [destroyed and redefined the piece at least two dozen times] I'm letting it "air" at school over winter break. Hopefully, I'll have updates in the new year.

Don't know if it's the coloring or the intimate and creative pose that strikes me the most, but this work is really worth wider recognition.

Actually went and had a look his work.. I can totally see the parallels and where the inspiration came from.. actually an amazing translation of what he must have been thinking into your own art style .. bellissimo

As ~tainte-truffle said, it looks chaotic and serene at the same time - the characters seem to be serene, but the coloring seem chaotic, as if their feelings are exploding. Their pose and coloring looks great, I just would like to see more detail on their faces. Anyway, I enjoyed this a lot!

This is very nice and the colors work wonderfully with it, i see more earthly sprites than people and its chaotic and serene at the same time. The heads are cool like happiness is litterly exploding out as they share there first kiss. I dont know what you mean by unfinished because it looks perfect to me, even the bg. Theres so much movement in the characters them self adding anything to the bg would simply take away!

Just looking at this I can sense that it is a very personal piece, the emotion (if that's the word I am looking for) radiates from it. (my humblest apologies for sounding like an art dag 
Nice style with the strokes. How the two figures are posed and how they are painted look fantastic!
Love the use of colours and tones as well.
I'm really digging this piece, I'd be most interested to see if you do, do more with it.

For me. this is powerful and yet playful. Hunger and yet that first clumesly shared kiss. Nice feeling of vialume and i adore the grey. brown and bone white colors. Dirts is my favorite color.
