Description
This crocodiliform has one of the weirdest names: Laganosuchus, "pancake crocodile", due the flattened skull. Well, only the lower jaw is known, which is indeed of low depth, and the skull is expected to be flat as well, just like in the closely related Stomatosuchus.Though from little remains, we know 2 species of this genus: L. thaumastos, from Niger, described from an almost complete lower jaw, and L. maghrebensis, from Morocco, described from a dentary fragment.

The lower jaws of Stomatosuchus suggest a throat pouch, apparently. It wasn't identified or proposed from Laganosuchus' jaws, though, so I didn't put one in this pancake guy.
