To me it's fine, considering the "furry" feathers. Another people even said to me to do a thicker neck, for this reason. My mistake here was the visible leg muscles, giving a impression of short feathers, when they are long.

Oh, okay but I consider the seriema if I'd ever draw a terror bird, Maybe they lacked furry ratite-like feathers?

I don't know... almost every (if not every)art of terror birds I saw had furry feathers, so probably there are evidences for this theory. Anyway, I need to research a lot more about terror birds for my next drawings.
