Poor Niko, he came to Liberty City to get away from his terrible past and thought he could live a normal life but unforeseen circumstances take that opportunity away in one fell swoop. By the loss of someone near and dear to you (depends on what road you took).

you're very welcome and I'm glad. my coworker sent the link to this pic because she and I would gush over how much we love GTA IV, she simply loving the Niko's accent and me the gaming content though I never got around to finishing the game. Of course she filled me in on how it ends (spoilers were never a big deal with me) and so I was like OMFG i have to see this piece! That and Niko is always so down to earth and always puts up with stuff it just made me think how good is this piece. I think you did very well

I really enjoyed that game. It was way better than GTA V in my opinion.

Seriously I think Niko has to be one of the more lovable characters in the game plus he's the first one that's from out of the country as opposed to the previous games characters being native. As for GTA V I haven't played too much of it so I wouldn't know but i did piss off someone in the gaming club i go to when i shot one of the hostages in the first mission. Totally worth it no regrets

Whether it is either Roman or Kate he mourns for, by the end of the game Niko realises he can't escape being a criminal. Or at least that's what I believe.

Well, it was all a consequence of his choices. Even then you can't help but feel for the guy, it's clear that he's a good person inside.
