This took me awhile...but it was a joy to complete.At the end of LoTR RoTK...when Frodo and Sam part, the Elves leave middle earth...is where I got my inspiration to do this painting.

This scene has the most beautiful landscape, in my opinion, out of all of the other gorgeous scenery displayed in the film. You definitely captured everything I loved about the scenery in this amazing painting. I am favoriting this one as well, and I am going to poke around in the rest of your gallery, too. How you managed to capture all the details, and get that setting sun over the ocean and make it look so...well, real, in a way..I'll never know.

Very very nice. I like the way the colors mix! Im not an artistic genius, but the way everything around the boat is dark, and the destination ahead of them is bright. Its very very gorgeous.

This is just amazing.... You've captured all the emotion of that scene with an incredibly detailed, well-painted scene.
I just want to point out the line around the shadow of the boat looks a little out of place.

first off, great job! i really like this painting. i don't like the white bars at the top and bottom though - they seem unnecessary, and they're distracting. and there's a really visible outline on the boat's shadow which is kind of ugly, but on a whole, spectacular job.
