Ghods, I remember the first time I saw her costume and fell utterly in love with it even before I got to know her.... Yes, I'm sometimes that shallow.
How are you dealing with the NewDC? Some people seem to love it; some are putting up with it; some still haven't managed to adapt and care much about the new stuff.
I'm afraid I'm in the third category; I need continuity of character/social HISTORY as well as basic personality. I'm mostly a BatsFan, but I can't seem to BELIEVE in the new version of 'em because they're no longer the guys who've been through and shared the interpersonal traumas and rapports I know them for.
I keep picking up the new TPs in hopes of eventually giving a damn, and I'm sure I'd enjoy them if this were just an AU like Ultimate Marvel, but functionally I still feel like DC simply killed everybody I cared about, without even bothering to resolve their personal stories and relationships in the slightest.
