Do snakes need chronographic measurement devices?

Well around here we watch for all sorts of snake. Of the top 10 most venomous snakes in the world, 11 live in Australia.

I may be fortunate that my gender and proclivities rule out danger from the one eyed trouser snake, but the lown down, dirty scoundrel human snake can still be a threat (cf my run in with an art thief this week!).

We have Rattle Snake everywhere. But it is the Red Neck Snake that you really have to watch

I had a couple of classic run-ins with rednecks when I was travelling in the USA. I went to a donut shop in Shreveport, and was about to order when I noticed KKK pamphlets on the counter with a "Please Take One" sign. I walked out and went to the donut shop across the road, which was the Afro-American one. I got stared at, granted, but the Aussie accent and the reason I went there won them over. They took me to an all black blues club that night, where I was introduced to all the security staff so they knew to look after me and had one of the most fun nights of my life listening to real delta blues.

I don't know why they don't give the rednecks their own country... oh wait, maybe they did.. it's called the Deep South? (apologies to sensible folks who live closer to the equator than the Mason-Dixon!).

great story.coming from the south i can see the hate and fear in their eyes. it's really sad. they live in a bubble. even the news they get is totally different than what we get on the west coast.
