Once when I was twelve my family left on vacation and left my oldest brother behind. He was 20 and was going to college. When we returned he told us my sisters puppy had died and he had to bury her. We were all in tears crying then he told us that the puppy didn't fit in the hole he dug. So he had to break the dogs leg so it would fit in the hole. I stopped crying to ask why he just didn't make the hole bigger. He thought about it and said yeah I should have done that. We cried harder.
