Tadashi was late. I had waited for him for nearly an hour for our date tonight. I know school was really important to him. Especially right now, since he was so close to finishing his latest project.

But I still thought we could have one day to spend with each other.

As selfish as that sounded, I actually haven't seen him very often these past few weeks. God, can I be anymore whiny?

I sat around my apartment, all dressed up for our evening. But since I don't think he'll make it, I'll be changing out of my new dress and heels into my pjs and socks. I'll wipe off my perfectly executed eyeliner and his favorite lipstick shade on me. Sighing, I got up from my couch and started heading towards my room. I'll get to wear this outfit another day, hopefully.

The doorbell rang. Not once, but twice and then a few times more. Who could've been ringing so frantically for no reason? Groaning, I headed towards the door and saw it was the exact person I didn't really want to see right now.

"(Y/N)," Tadashi panted. "I'm so sorry."
"Did you just run here?" I asked, watching him lean against the door frame.
"Up 10 flights of stairs," He nodded, smiling sheepishly. "The elevator wasn't fast enough."
"I was just gonna get changed."
"No, (Y/N) listen," He sighed, running a hand through his neatly styled dark hair. "I know you've been waiting weeks for this date and another hour or two because of me."
He closed his eyes and opens them again to meet my own, hurt and disappointed ones.
"I'm sorry I'm late and I know you probably don't want to see me like ever again, but I still want to ask for one more chance to make this right."
He holds up a bouquet of flowers and a teddy bear and kneeled in front of me.
"(Y/N), I probably don't deserve this, but will you please let me take you out on a date?"
A small smile fell on my lips as I watched him present me the flowers and bear.
"This isn't a proposal, Dashi," I giggled, pulling him up to stand. "And although I am still really disappointed, I hope you make this the best date ever."
"Yes!" He grinned, picking me up and spinning us around. "This will be the best date, I promise you."

That evening, after I put the flowers in a vase and the bear on my bed, Tadashi showed me a great time. We went to the art museum and saw some really cool pieces. I was very excited and extremely happy to finally experience the Infinity Mirrored Room. It was infinitely beautiful as I stood in the room with an endless display of LED lights. After the museum, we walked to this nearby restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal.

I didn't notice earlier, for whatever reason, but Tadashi was wearing a dark suit, complete with a tie, that made him look insanely sexy.
"What's with the suit?" I asked, noticing he also ditched his beloved hat.
"Just thought I change it up a bit," He shrugged, winking mischievously at me. "You like?"
I blushed and returned my attention back to my food. The dinner was filled with laughs and endless amounts of teasing and flirts to last us a lifetime.

After dinner, we walked around until we wandered into a candy shop. We fed each other samples secretly until we were asked to buy something or leave. In the end, Tadashi purchased a box of chocolates.

Towards the end of our night, Tadashi walked me to my door and I couldn't hold back my temptation anymore. I grabbed his collar and pulled him down to meet my awaiting lips. He was shocked at first, since I was always very shy around him, but he kissed back with the same amount of passion.

I guess you could say, I found out he wasn't very innocent at all last night.
