"In the future, Le Paradox has successfully escaped from prison. Needing allies for his new plan to destroy the Cooper line and exact his revenge on Sly, he used a time machine to pull Neyla from the Clock-La shell before the Hate Chip was destroyed.
The bonding with Clockwerk has done a number on Neyla, twisting her mind into a more brutal, vengeful mindset. Sacrificing her traditional manipulation for far more direct villainy."

Well sadly neither are gonna happen. Sony cancelled the movie after the Ratchet and Clank movie failed to meet goals, and Sanzaru canceled the Sly Cooper games after the failure of Thieves in Time

Actually, Sanzaru didnβt make Sly 5 because Sony never asked them. Matt Kraemer has stated that if Sony asked, they would make Sly 5 in a heartbeat.

Not what I heard, but I like your theory. Meh, maybe it was Sony who decided against it. But point is Thieves in Time sucked and if there ever was a Sly 5, I demand it's made more like the original trilogy

I honestly liked Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, and feel that it actually stacks up well against the first three games. When you really look below the surface, you realize that the fourth game is actually a lot more clever than you'd think.
By the way, I'm also writing a Sly 5 fanfic, which will include:
- Jing King as the newest member of the Cooper Gang
- Sly learning dark secrets about his father
- The Contessa... an ALLY?!?
- An epic final battle between Sly and Penelope

Indeed.
The idea I'm shooting for is that Jing King joins the Cooper Gang and helps them on their quest to stop Penelope. Her reasons for joining are:
1) She wants to prove to her father that she is worthy of the family name King
2) She wants to repay her debt to the Cooper Gang for saving her from General Tsao
3) She wants to see the world, and find a purpose beyond getting married
At first, she's very reluctant and unsure of herself, but as time goes on, and as Sly descends further into his darkest hour, she gains confidence, and finds that she has inner strength that even her father would find impressive. Also, she proves to be very wise, seeing things that go right over the rest of the gang's heads. She also bonds with Carmelita, once she inevitably joins with the Cooper Gang.
Also, I might have her quote Confucius and Sun Tzu, because why not?
