Well, if I HAD to explain it simply... I'll just say that... Children just shouldn't be taught to like the same gender, because the way of life is that you're supposed to reproduce, and that can only be done with the opposite gender, NOT the same one. That's why homosexuality is NOT for kids, because it teaches kids that they don't need to grow up and have kids of their own to be happy.

what you dont seem to realize is that the minority of the population is gay, and there is no way we are going to die out because a slightly higher percent of the population might be gay. At what part is homosexuality telling kids not to grow up and have kids, I'm gay, I learned about equality when I was young and I am still going to have kids. There is such thing as a donor and a sperm bank if you hadn't realized. Also, what you dont realize is that we ARENT teaching them to be gay, we are showing them its okay if they want to. That is incredibly hypocritical by the way, by how much society puts gender roles on literally everything and forces people into these roles. But another thing that homosexuality and the whole spectrum could help with is orphans. There are tons of kids who are without parents and gay couples who dont want a donor can always just adopt and HELP those children. We are so advanced now in technology and science that our main goal should not be to reproduce, in a couple of hundreds of years our population will be twice as many as now probably, but our goal should be to live healthy and happy lives and pursue our dreams and career to help the world in other ways such as global warming. Finally, I am truly offended that you think my sexuality, a major part of my identity, will hurt this world.Β

No, i'm positive that that ISN'T what Hasbro is going for. Lyra and Bon Bon, what they feel for each other is not Friendship OR Romantic Love. you know what it is? what I think Hasbro is doing is this: Lyra and Bon Bon have become such great friends, that Lyra feels that Bon Bon is like a sister to her, and Bon Bon feels the same way. That's what that heart in the short was: sisterly love. While they may not be blood related, they feel for each others the same way sisters do. That's what people SHOULD think, instead of saying they have a romantic relationship. And besides, a sister relationship between the two makes MUCH more sense, ESPECIALLY because it's a kids show, and I guarantee that a sister relationship between Lyra and Bon Bon is what Hasbro is going for.
