You may have already gotten it from the text, but this story takes place twenty years after the events of the Pkmn Red and Blue games. In the original games, Gold/Silver take place only three years after, however I felt like I needed more time in this story to make several events believable. It won't change the story of the game in any way ;D

I upgraded the size of New Bark Town severely. In this story, I try to refer to the real Japan wherever I can. That means that New Bark Town in my story is based on Shizuoka, the city New Bark was originally based on! I didn't just copy-paste Shizuoka however, instead I designed my own city. There's places in that city I would love to visit, like the older street built next to the river, the shopping dome, a big park with a pagoda and lake, and of course the ferris wheel xD Can you find them all? <,<

For those who don't know; I'm a geologist! I love science, and wanted a way to combine science with Pokemon. Well, it turns out you're going to learn some geology stuff in this comic, because Eclipse has exactly the same profession+specialization as I do, and is going to do a massive research project in Johto xD And yes, I actually studied the geology of Japan for this...
