Description
I wanted to try painting something quickly, and in a different style than I normally do. So I gave this thing about an hour/hour and a half-ish. I'm fairly pleased, and want to try this speedy way of painting again

Wow, beautiful.... O.O I think that if you'd made the back part of the trees (from the left edge of the picture to the middle) a bit faded out, it would've given it a bit more depth and then it would've been perfect.

I looked at some photos, started by roughing in the dark and light areas, then slowly defined them.
Just think of a landscape as nothing more than another character itself and it gets easier...well....a big character :]

I adore scene pictures and I have to admit, this one is very moving. The shades and tones of the grass, reflection on the water and the absolutely gogeous lighting. It appears to hold a secret lurking just beyond that line. It's very suddle and elegant. I salute you!

Love the colors. This has a genuinely magical and mystical feel to it, like some power is lurking behind the trees. Awesome!
