Here's a taste of what I'm doing in my Art Direction class. This is the opening illustration for my story section of our Magazine.The featured story is about a little boy who folds a paper boat that turns into a real boat in the night. He joins its crew and goes on an adventure with a fierce storm and a pirate battle. The rest of the magazine is filled with Crafts for kids and parents to work on, that are based off of the featured story.

The magazine is a children's' craft magazine called Make Believe. It's a quarterly publication aimed at creative parents and/or creative kids. It's split in 3 sections: A story that sets the theme, the crafts themselves, and editorial articles about crafts and kids and creativity. It's pretty nifty, almost sounds like a real magazine doesn't it x3
