At first I thought it had an Afro, but I looked closer. Sorry. Reminds me of another Makuta, or is this just a recolor?

..Well know I can't unsee it, omg
To be fair, even in set form Mutran is basically a recolor of... I think his name is Chirox?

Much threatenin' vibe there. Didn't have almost anythin' to do with the Bionicle line besides seein' the first movie back in the day but did just watch the Lego episode on "The Toys That Made Us", which does point out how Bionicle was one of those lines that really saved Lego's ass at the time. Going different yet not missing the point as well, unlike in a few attempts they'd rather forget about 👍: 0 ⏩: 1

I felt like they did a massive discredit to Bionicle by showing only Gen 2 footage.

I love to see classic Bionicle art. G2 was not so great and Lego was really lazy with its advertisement and story.

The 12 G2 Toa, protectors, elemental creatures, and the two Umaraks are some of the best sets in Bionicle history
too bad the story behind them was so much Nothing. ;-;

I will not deny that the construction on the G2 sets were above and beyond in quality compared to most G1 sets, But I prefer the look of the G1 sets more. They sold the Bio-Mechanical look better than the G2 sets that look mostly robotic.
The story for G1 was also really really good and G2 didn't even have a complete story bible when they started writing it, making is seem like Lego didn't even care if Bionicle succeeded or not.
