Description Another Skull Study. This time its an animal skull. (A hayeena skull) Ive just recently started digging up some of the dino bone and insect books that I read as a kid. Now I find that they have some great pictures, info, and inspiration in them. I searched for more updated books at the school library and found a large book on bones with highly detailed photos of animal bones. I found a photo I though was nice, drew it and here are the results.
I am quite proud of this piece even though the detail and proportions doesnt quite match up to the original. A piece of the photo was also cut off so I couldnt finnish the back end of the skull. DAMN! Should have looked on the net for referances, but now its too late. If any one have some major critiques to give me, pleas do so.

Perfect shading! It doesn't matter if some details aren't perfect, the drawing look incredible asa whole thing.
I guess my only observation would be the projected shadow in the floor

Light is realy an intersting thing, it changes all the details depending on wear you flash it. The projected shadow on the floor was on the photo and it serves as a little reminder for my self.

Undoubtably...brilliant shading here. In the time I've been here the only time I've seen somebody work with pencils this well was with ~kodriak . And that's impressive. Very!

No critiques, either, as I know nothing about realistic art...just the crap I'm into. xD

Umm... Ehh, Kodriak has pencil skills far above my own, not to mension she is also younger then I am. But thanks anyway! This took me quite a while to finnish and realistic art is relitivly new for me.

I don't have any good critique to give, but I must say that is an awesome job. Even if the proportions and detail are off a little, it's still quite a nice piece.
