I called this little guy "Mumford" when I was sketching today, mostly because the description said "heart of gold, not of a lion" and I instantly thought of Mumford & Sons' song Little Lion Man.
He does his best. Sometimes he worries that his best isn't good enough, and those are the days that he almost stops trying, but those who love him are there to see him through. So he's not given up yet, and I don't think he ever will
