Description This is more or less accurate rendering of how Earth surface would look if there would be more water on it (50 to 100 meters, cannot tell more precisely because the image I used for reference did not include measurements). Answering your possible questions - no it is not about 2012, apocalypsis, or humanity in general. It's simply geologic curiosity

Not 50-100 Meter. That looks more like 200-300 Meter. ( Look here -> flood.firetree.net) BTW, very nice work.

They never show what the planet Earth looks like post-Second Impact in Evangelion, but I feel like this is what it would look like...

Wow looks awesome and awful at the same time XD Seems Africa is rather high, but Russia is gone oO

Just one thing, Antarctica must be smaller, too Iยดd say.

So Antarctica stays frozen? Where did all the water come from? >.< I still like this though, It's great!

dude u rock i have been looking for a proper flood world map for the last 6 hours and this one is fairly accurate so I might use it in a sustainable engineering presentation. Thanks a million

that is both beautiful and terifying, we'll all have to move to antarctica, at least stuff might grow there now!

Of course South America will be covered with water - all the earthquake happening and shifts of the axis.

Otherwise wow!

Western North America would be largely unaffected. However that would include large swathes of the Lower Mainland like Vancouver.

Although if I remember correctly from some studies I read a while ago round about 6-8 meters should be enough to flood all that.
