Alpenglow - reminds me of one (for some obscure reason), but definitely isn't - this is good ol' light pollution.
I'm sorry for another obligatory Perth skyline shot but I thought this one looked cool

wow. i must have taken my pic in the same spot the following night. interesting to see the effects of the smaller aperture and the longer shutter. we got very similar results with very different settings.

I wouldn't say same spot, this is taken just a little further from the Mends St. jetty. Yours must be further on (check the building signs, they're fairly different in each photo (the angle, anyway))

I like the colours and especially the length of this shot, you have given a nice amount of space either side of the skyscrapers, however, i feel that the shot could be more concise and eye-catching if you cropped much of the bottom and top of the photo. This would create a panoramic type photo which i think would really look excellent.
