yes yes yes !!! It's really Trakai and if you are from Vilnius (is that so?) you probably saw it, it' s 28 km form Vilnius!!!

unfortunately my books are just for roumanian, moldavian and russian market

lithuanian tale in russion it's sounds a bit strange while having in mind the political events rumors and so on of the past couple of years...
Trakai is one of the nicest places in Lithuania and there probably are no children who haven been there I live in Panevezys it's more then 100km from the capital, but I study in Vilnius so thats were I am now

...And actualy I think I havent heard a tale about "palace from the water"

it's a tale about how the King of Lithuania Gediminas killed a monster who lived in that lake and built the palace Trakai

emmm... :}}}} well... firstly Gediminas was a granduke(lt had only one king - Mindaugas, a century before Gediminas), and there is a legend of how Gediminas kills an iron wolf on one of the hills of vilnius and builds a castle there, though he built castle of trakai too. I think this tale is pretty new
