Hi yes ya local enby is back on their bullshit screaming about their trashcat peoples

So I want to do a series of little vignettes into both Zaine and Venias' lives so HERE GOES

Zaine was born into a travelling family of mages that moved into Rodahnn. Zaine, given his mixed blood (he was an Forest/Plains Othreiil mix) he was looked down by some of his folk for awhile, however his mother and father saw nothing different of their son, only encouraging to be more than what they saw them as. The family was accepted into the clan that had rule over the village itself. They had no difficulty in adjusting to the life of the plains othreiil in Iafan, and Zaine frequently explored the wilderness outside of the village. He spent A his time catching animals and collected plants, making notes of every creature and plant he found and kept it in his notebook.

As for Ven, he was born into the Arrym clan, to both Nagao Arrym and Myran Sayaal, who married shortly after Nagao's rise to his place as the leader. Venias was born without wings, a trait that deemed him as lower than his peers, for a wingless Othreiil in the eyes of the clan was barely an Othreiil at all, and some rumored if he was a human halfbreed. Ven really didn't seem to care, nor did Myran, who loved her child nonetheless and pushed him to ignore whoever put him down. Venias, who had looked up to his father from hearing all of the adventures he had, wanted to be a warrior just like him, and would practice in the woods alone.

(By the way, this was pre-transition years for Ven. Venias didn't start transitioning until he was 13-14 years old)

Zaine first met Venias when they were around 6-7 years old, along the fringes of Rodahnn in Iafan. Zaine was pretty much minding his own business going out to study the local flora and fauna and he bumps into the sandy colored Othreiil cub who was already walking his way down and preparing to practice again.

It's made apparent that Ven does not like Zaine at first and attempts to shoo him off with his walking stick. However, Zaine is unfazed by Ven's threats of whacking the shit out of him and sticks around, asking about who he is and the likes, trying to befriend the wingless cub. He gets scared a couple times

Days and then weeks go by and Ven starts to grow on the lanky dork and soon decides "screw it, let's be friends I guess." And he starts hanging out with Zaine more, eventually becoming close to him as he was the only one person that seemed to genuinely care for him as a friend, not look down on him because he was wingless. Zaine saw Venias as an extremely loyal friend and, even if he disagreed at times, he'd take a couple hits for him.
