Hello!!! I remembered you from the twistedbrush forums. I did not realize you were here, but when I saw this thumb, it seemed i saw this artists work before, and i did. I haven't been to the tb forums for quite awhile. But I did find the one I remembered from there, here also... [link] ... anyway congrats on your DD, it is time you are recognized for your artwork!!!

This is my take on it: It's the mind and soul's yearning to fish deep inside their inner self (the soup and bread represent their life) yet the cracks convey how damaged they are and the pool of water inbetween represents how deep they have sunken, yet the fishing line pull's them out. I find the the cracks outside the bowl and the shark in the water facinating too, it's makes me see things through a bigger picture of how destructive and aggresive life can be outside and barron like a desert, yet inside our minds we have the ingrediants to pull through, and lift ourselves out of depression.
Sorry if i've gone a lil too deep hehe, i hope i havn't completely missed the meaning

Can I guess its meaning? It's like the person is looking for satisfaction or fulfillment in the wrong places and too earnestly, not letting themselves enjoy what they have that's already attainable???
