After a happy night out of the glade, Lucio is followed by the duke while returning home from a visit with his mother. Angered by his prizes petulance and refusal to follow him after winning the first time, he made sure that the motivation for denying him would not pose an issue twice.
After beating Lucio into the ground and making sure he wouldnt move, Duke Richard escorted Elowyn from the Birchwood Hollow, leaving Lucio behind to perish alone cold in the snow.
