Description This turned out way differently than it was supposed to. Originally I was going to make a Neko picture of myself sleeping because I'm bored, but then I thought "You know what, I'm going to be stupid and make a completely pointless picture." And we got this, yay, the end.

Studying for SATs and other exams and then they get cancelled due to the harsh weather asdfiwodfja . That's why I haven't uploaded much lately. Sorry~.

....

But while I was away, I learned something really useful. It's a new study tip, hopefully it'll be helpful to anyone that doesn't know about it.

This is for things you're studying for that have videos that can go along with them. Ideally YouTube videos, such as math, history, science, English, art, etc. (Note: If there isn't a video or anything with sound available, you can grab a textbook or something and record yourself reading the section you're trying to learn.)

Materials Needed:
1. Earphones
2. Computer
5. YouTube Downloader (Or a YouTube-to-Mp3 online video converter.)
6. Windows Media Player (Or whatever you use to play sound files, anything that loops.)

Optional:
1. Audacity program

1. Get some earphones that wrap around your ears. Make sure they are sturdy earphones. Those are usually sold as workout earphones, but you'll see it can be used in a different way. Example (Closest to the ones I use, even though mine are red.): www.workoutheadphones.org/wp-c…
2. Download the video you're watching from YouTube and convert it to an MP3.
3. Download the MP3 and play it through Media Player, and turn it on repeat and on low volume.
4. Go to sleep with the video playing through your headphones.

If the MP3 has some excess parts in it that you don't need, then you can use Audacity to trim out and edit out any parts of the video you don't need. You could also use it to blend multiple videos in together.

Optional method (The method I use):

1. Download the video and convert it to MP3,
2. If the video doesn't have any music in the background, take the MP3 into Audacity as well as a soft song of your choice to play in the background. Remember to lower the gain on the background music to make sure it is quieter than the video MP3 file, so it won't be distracting. (When I did this, I chose the piano version of Kaito's "Tell Your World" song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_K50JI… . )
3. Once everything is ready, convert the Audacity file into an MP2 and play it through Media Player so it will loop.
4. Go to sleep with the video's tutorial(s) and soft music looping while you sleep.

(Also, remember to turn off the display on the computer so it will play but not light up the room while you're trying to sleep.)

I had to memorize a speech and was able to pretty much memorize the whole thing overnight from doing this. (But I only had two hours of sleep at the time, so a full set of sleep hours would be ideal for more complicated subjects.)

Hopefully this will help anyone in anyway. Let me know if it does. I probably look strange for telling all of this, especially since it's not like I discovered anything new. All I'm doing is telling you guys something that helped me a lot, and I'm suggesting you giving it a shot. Let me know how it works for you~.

You're welcome. Give it a try and we'll see how it turns out. It's a lot easier, simpler and faster than it sounds.
