It is cute, but no the poppy is not Belgium's national flower, just like sunflowers aren't Russia's national flowers, it's only the symbol of the first World War, because of the Poem 'In Flanders Fields'

No, lily of the valley is Finland's national flower, Belgium doesn't have a national flower, at least not one I heard of. The lily of the valley, the 'meiklokje' (May bell Flemish name) is given to the ladies on may 1. Hence the mistake.
