Yay, another cos!Maybe the last one for this year... maybe I'll try to do Dino from Reborn as well. But right now I need a break from cosplay. All I want to do this winter is to repair and improve my other cosplays. Don't even know yet when there'll be another larger event for which I could wear Lust, byakuya or Nidaime... (Kurenai is already planned for one day during the Book Fair in Leipzig next spring)
Doing this cos here was.... interesting. Hey this is my very first armor! No I can start doing a Gold Saint cosplay *manic laughter*... Okok... I'm still far away from so many details ^^'
Anyway the preparations for the armor lasted the past two weeks. Before that me and a friend had worked on the clothes, which took about 2-3 days....

Sorry for my late answer! Life is quite busy right now.
About the headband, it's made of three layers of craftfoam the upper one has the Konoha-pattern cut into it - I glued all of them together with hotglue and made sure, that it already stays in this slightly bend form that fits my face. Then I painted it with acrylic paint.
But I made this years ago. Now I would at least use another kind of paint. The acrylic paint dries out over time and chips of - after all the headband is still flexible. Maybe some of these latex-paints that LARPer use for their weapons.

Thanks So Much, When You Had Responded I already had left to the Convention I was going too. I ended Up making mine with my Best Friend who Used Mold, Wire, Carbon Fiber and Bondo. It was about a 2 Week Process But it came Out very Nice. Thanks Again. It Did Help.

it's from some material that becomes really soft and bendable when heated up. Doing an armor that is rather simple was really easy o_O
