More Silent Hill fanart!
This time Silent Hill: Downpour <3
Now here's little Anne together with her father Frank Coleridge, somewhere in Ryall State Prison.
I guess it's 'Visit your daddy at work day'
… so yeah.In the game Anne mentioned that she always wanted to be like her father, so I decided to draw her as a little girl, already playing the big police girl, trying to impress her daddy. And Frank's just like "My girl…*proud*" xDD
Oh man I loved Frank. He was such a kindhearted man… he should't have died like this…
Well, I bet he was a great father - so I wanted to portray him like that!
I also know that little Anne looks different ingame (In case you don't know -> it's the little girl running away from you in the St. Maria's Monastery, it's a manifestation of her younger self.) But yeah, I didn't like that look that much, so I changed it a bit. I guess you can also recognize her better now.

The final revelation of this game maybe is not strong as in the other games, but still extremely sad, because even I feel like having a bond with Frank through the escenes and documents from the game, infortunately I knew the final spoiler before playing the game, so, the impact wasn't the same.
What I still wonder about the game is exactly how many time passed since Frank was left in the wheelchair until the beggining of the game, because it leaves implicit that she has to attend him and take care of him, but still, Murphy passed more years in prison due of the happening but he looked the same age as in the flashbacks, is so confusing. If only Murphy would have listened Frank, or protect him in the end u.u

Awwww, this is so cute. I'm a huge sucker for daddy/daughter relationships in media and the ones in Silent Hill hit me hard. Especially Heather and Harry and now Frank and Anne. I remember after finding out what happened to Frank and that Anne was his daughter, (who I did not like at first), I was running around in the game like "I'm sorry! I didn't mean it! He didn't deserve it! I'm so sorry!"
But anyway, I love this drawing and feel like you portrayed their love for each other quite well. Anne's all like "I can do this! Dad'll be so proud!" and Franks like, "That's my girl." I like your design of Young Anne better than the one in the game. Something about how she looked as a child in the game kinda freaked me out, she just didn't look right.
