My heart achesAs the countless scars covering it
Burn with old painful memories
Yet despite this suffering
I do not take the time to
Rest and heal
There is no time for that
So many others out there are
Hurting in terrible torment as well
I can help them
I can make them feel better
Steal their horrible pain from them
So that they at least they can be happy
I ignore my
Dry tears
Silent cries
Internal bleeding
All of them are hidden from the world
So that before my own
Depression devours me alive
I can at least make the rest of the world
A joyful place for everybody I love
