Description

This, obviously, is a drawing of an eye. It is one drawing in a series of five that was done as an art assignment in high school. The assignment was: choose a human body part, take several varied close-up photos of it, and draw it making sure to emphasize texture. I'm best a drawing eyes, so I went around taking close-ups of my classmates' eyes for my series.

This was the eye of my friend Greg. His eye was actually blue-grey (like Brian's), but for the purpose of variety in the drawings I made all the eye colors different, and I decided to make Greg's sort of aqua... not that I've actually ever seen anyone with aqua eyes. I also wanted to make the eyes appear to express emotion. Greg was just looking down, probably at his own artwork, but the eye by itself looked kind of sad to me.
