It's amazing. There's so much in this, the feeling and the sense of desertion and control. The two standing right there don't seem much concerned but still there is a haunting in this. Love the colours and the detail!

woa this totally awesome 0.0..... a world of metal. all day long the greased faced people who live in this town hear the sounds of clanging metal and steam escaping into the air. Bronze, gold, silver, and rust red are the colors of this dreary city. when the people are gone all that will be left is the peices of genius and the oil that drove it all...

Woah, I love the style of this. Very steampunk but with a more industrial feel. I just wanna take a ride in the leftmost bus/taxi thing and see what it's like inside. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but the angles and proportions seem kind of...off, or skewed. Either way it makes the picture quite a bit creepier.
I get the feeling that this town/city has been invaded and occupied by a high-tech, heavy-industry foreign power, which is now enforcing oppressive laws upon the people. The title encourages this line of thought and implies something rather unpleasant is going on. Great work and very evocative!

Amazing and yet almost nightmarish. I am very much a fan of the Steampunk genre. Your work has almost a little Dhali in it with that oversized mechanism somehow squeezing its'bulk through that curving alleyway. The bleakness of the colours gives a very oppressive feel to the piece as well as the lack of the human element in a daytime setting when you would expect a small square such as this to be thriving with more life than just two men who appear more authoritarian than just general citizenry. Very impressive work.
