UPDATE [April 29th:]Completed the rough digital lineart and blocked in some basic tones for the heck of it. Just made it look better, I suppose. :>
Prev version:
One of my characters in the group with Nephryst, Shastir and Sifrona. This was made quite a while ago, but it'll be one of the first I work on when the homework slows down a little.
I've drawn her since then and sorta gone back on making her so skinny, so the lineart's gonna be pretty different. I'm not totally decided on skin color and color palette yet.
As far as her magic, it's lightning and fire. Her playing style is more of a grappler type, with the weapon being used more for assassination techniques rather than wildly swinging it around. (That and she can throw it like a boomerang, 'cause why not. o.o)

Thanks! I'm in the middle of sketching over her to fix her body type and sketching her clothes to match it. Shooting for sometime this week, hopefully.

I'm glad you like her! And hopefully it should be someday soon! And in a number of ways too. A friend of mine is working on drawing her, as well and I intend to color the lineart and post his versions of Nephryst, Shastir, Sifrona and Limera all at once. :>

Thanks! That's one of my favorite parts of the design, just thinking of ways for it to be used. It's almost kinda like a tonfa, but with a different direction and application altogether.

I like her character design. I gotta say, she looks allot like the humanoid version of my wolf-cat character Lyni.
That's such a cool coincidence. XD I have photo manipulation renders of Lyni posted from the character customs in
game, but I have yet to draw her. She's originally anthropomorphic but has that were-wolf ability to change to her
necko form. She sports a similar weapon too, but it's in the form of katar that resembles cat claws. ^^
Anyway, I love her overall design here. And that's a cool weapon you got there. Boomerangs are cool!

I don't really think they look similar at all, but I guess that's just because I already know the ideas for colors in my head. I believe she'll be dark-skinned again, for starters. XD

Thanks! I try to practice them a lot. I think I'm just fascinated with having actually gotten down a method to drawing them, since it's something I never thought I'd be able to do.
Now to figure out one for hands...q.q

I'll be setting up a poll after Limera with some pictures of designs and sketches and the color palette of each character I'm looking to draw. Hopefully I'll be able to involve everybody that way, too. :>
