Gallery | Tumblr | Instagram | Facebook | Twitter So by the recent poll I put out, I had the idea of doing 24 hour commissions. I started this one on Monday....and finished it yesterday night. Now of course, I was the one underestimating how long it'd take me, in this case. It was a busy week for other reasons and from the beginning, I kinda blew the scale of the concept up with wanting to try so many angles and positions and backgrounds etc.

The gist of the 24 hour coms was basically to do them to the same degree of these kinds of pieces:

Actual backgrounds and shading, but not too detailed on each. Monochrome-Spectre was the first to help me testing this and another couple of friends are helping with that too. So hopefully, by the time I open up, I can get a sense of when the best time to do these would be and how to get it down to 1 day.

This was great practice, though. I definitely do not think I nailed the perspective, but it was an interesting exercise trying to force it. Without the blur and dimming her colors, it just kinda looked like she was gigantic. In some ways it still does. But whatever the result is, she's at least about to get robbed.
