Little Shibka has grown from a fluffy pup to a very nice teenager. Here she is practising her show stance.Shibka is Tchourek's Angel Rising to Wayreth, my youngest girl.

Is it true that this kind of dog needs to have a black nose to be a show dog?

If a grey Siberian doesn't have a black nose, it can be regarded as a fault. However in the winter they often get pink streaks in their noses - it's called a snow nose and they are allowed to have that for the ring.
A judge wouldn't disregard a very good dog if they lacked pigment in their nose - it would just be one thing that would count against a dog if there was another dog that was just as good, but had a nose of the correct colour for his or her coat.
Have a look at Sirius and Maigan in my gallery. Sirius has a brown nose which is quite correct for his colour. Maigan has a black and brown nose which is also correct as she is an Isabella.
