I've been thinking of doing a fem!Hiccup story and was thinking of what dragons would be a good match with some of the characters that'll show up. They'd be from the books, like Camicazi, Thuggory, etc.
I think this dragon would be a good match for Camicazi. I don't know, what's your opinion.

I do realize he is a character of dreamworks but when I first seen this picture..I thought of the purple people eater.. an old song from the past, way past...ha...Looks so hard to draw..so much detail..but then again, all your work is always so detailed...Your just too cooo....Muahhh

I'm a sucker for things that can change color though, so... me personally? Yeah, I would totally be a bit biased towards the Hobblegrunts~ haha TwT

I personally love their proportions. The bipedal stance with wings that look very close to proportional for their size. The shape of the legs! XD With the Grapplegrounders, I think it's the long, sinuous shape combined with an actual wingspan. (For some reason, the Gronkles bug me, design-wise, with the tiny wings. lol Meatlug is cool tho.)

Unless maybe they had a bunch of helium-like gas in their bellies to help them achieve lift? Otherwise I just don't see those boulder babes taking to the skies x'D hehehe

I always thought of them like Bumblebees. That whole anecdote about how they shouldn't be able to fly, but do anyway. Who knows, maybe HTTYD dragons have a little bit of magic about them. Just enough to make that difference, but not enough to tip the world out of balance. XD
