Volt arrived to Mobius lost in the forest while Dr. Robotnik was stomping around after his plans were foiled by Sonic and his friends then both noticed the blue chaos emerald. Just as Robotnik was about to grab it, Volt grabbed it first. Robotnik looked up and notices that he's not from around here. Volt growled thinking that he was a threat. Dr. Robotnik then had a quick think of an idea to trick him about why he's here. He explains and lies to him that Sonic and his friends stole the 7 Chaos emeralds like the one that he's holding right now. Volt realizes in shock understanding what Dr. Robotnik means by that but confused on why would they want the emeralds for. He explains that Sonic and his friends would use the emeralds for their evil purposes which makes Volt think that Sonic and his friends are the real enemies. He holds out his hand and shakes his hand in a agreement in forming an alliance to put an end to Sonic the hedgehog once and for all.
