A series that has been long under-appreciated, the King's Field games boasted quite the assortment of unique baddies; this guy was one of the first players would likely meet, and be eaten by. O_O

From King's Field II (released simply as 'King's Field' outside of Japan, because they got a part 1 that no one else did ), this is the Headeater. They aren't so difficult to kill one-on-one, as you can generally outmaneuver them and hack away as they struggle to face you. In a group, however, they can be downright deadly, and strike quicker than you'd think. Also, their watermelon-shaped heads are filled with a toxin that may be inflicted through bites - so take care not to get bitten!

NOTE: Blown up 3x from the original 32x32px size! I plan on doing all of the monsters for the whole King's Field series in pixel art as time allows, so stay tuned~!
