Description So, I have an extreme love for fake plugs [ and plugs in general] and clearly an octopus obcession. So i decided to try something out. This is just my test dummy, testing how strong it is. Trying different materials to re enforce that. Its been fun. But here’s the work in progress.

Let me know what you think! it gives me a better idea as to how many to make and what colors might look best for when I do get them up on Etsy

it does look really cool, what kind of sculpey you did to make this?Β 
Only becouse fimo / cernit and stuff like that are poisonous to wear as plug Β and Im wondering what it is made of Β 

I would love to have these kinds tentacles as a green, it would look so damn cool Β

SculpteyIII and Sculptey Premo Accents. Ugh I can't imagine the fear of wearing a Fimo one. But that's also why I like making faux plugs as a metal stud goes through your ear instead of the actual clay itself, which i have glazed overΒ  in my more final pairs both to help keep it together in the long haul and prevent against that.

I've seen plenty of full real plugs made out of sculptey.. but I have sensitive ears and couldn't even begin to imagine something foregin in them.


I just started a green pair! Hopefully I'll get pics up in the next few days.
