Really grateful you uploaded tutorials. I see the "can we sell" question has been answered, very generous. I'm trying it out now despite never having sewn in my life. Took me seven attempts but I think I got it down! Working on the hair right now otherwise I'd link it. Just wanted to say thanks!

That;s awesome! I often wish I kept my first plushes I made years ago so people could see how whacked they looked. I had no idea how to sew when I started either, except for making something in home ec class. It's amazing how fast you improve with practice.

wow this pattern is just the thing i needed, (finally a late b-day present for my little sister) what i dont get is d2, and why do we have to cut out b1 b2 b3 and b4?

D2 will wrap up around the butt end of the plush and give it some width.
The reason you cut out the center piece is 1. to have an opening to turn the plush right side out through and 2. to pull the legs in toward the center so the plush stands up firmly. Usually there is a seperete dart under each leg, but because this plush is small and I wanted to keep it simple, I combined it into a single center dart.

ohhhh thanks, its just, when i sewed the back of the head, it seems to stick out a bit too much,(it looks like a big sorta bump on the back of the head.) is that normal?

It does stick out a bit, but that will be covered by the mane.

I'm going to use this pattern (Thanks for sharing by the way!) and I still don't get d2 part. I haven't seen it on tutorial pattern, if I'll use it will there be a taily-thingy sticking out of the pony butt or something

The D2 wraps up around the back of the pony's butt to give it some width.

I noticed while I was looking at the tutorial that that piece sticking out,the d2,isn't on there

That matches up with the D2 on the body pieces.

I'm really confused on how to sew this belly piece on.With the d2 flap and the bigger c3 flap.

The front flap is the underside of the neck, and the head pieces should wrap around to fit on it. The back flap goes up around the butt.

Why can't I get the little bit at the tail end to work? Seems to work better, if I just cut it off. What am I doing wrong?
