Description

Finally got the g1-style pony pattern simple enough for the average crafter to sew. I’m quite happy with it - she’s cute and fat. I raised the head because a lot of folks were critical of the (more accurate) dropped head in the earlier versions, so she actually looks a bit like a g3. I'll probably narrow the muzzle just a bit when I vectorize the pattern. She's made from a very short pile plush, felt eyes, and the yarn mane is just a series of tassels sewn into the seam. It’s a heck of a lot easier than sewing them in after, which was what I’d done before.

She’s not any specific pony, just has a generic heart on her tush, so I call this one “Namakie” (which means something like “little imitation-y” in Afrikaans).

Ah looks great! How did you do the eyes? Like are they glued on or what?

Yep, they're felt glued on with e-6000 quick hold.
