2AM on a Saturday nightI guess it's that time again
caught in a cloud of egotistical ranting
creates infamous bullshit
I am nothing as I sip my tea
living in a false reality
always better than being numb
so what is the line between
insanity
and
eccentricity
I play for fools
and there's no one there
at least it's interesting
and I'm still lost in my own little world
of Anti-Poets and angels
guitars and bullets
feeling lost can be such a comfort
as you stumble down the path
believing in the surreal
I want to know what this is all about

I too find tea the only solace most days, never satisfied by my own egotistical ranting. This is fucking beautiful. I like the shape of it, with the two extremes of the piece placed in the middle. It's the kind of clarity of expression that usually eludes me.

yeah, I'd agree with that, at least for hot tea. I drink mostly cold Arizona tea with honey otherwise

I've been pretty lazy with keeping up with peoples new deviations recently, but this is good man and you raise questions that have been flitting through my mind also over the last few months especially about the line blurring between insanity and eccentricity. In a world so full of expression where almost everything and anything has been said or done before its hard to stand out in a crowd. You describe it with grace and good nature. I relate with every word.
My interpretation may be wrong but thats kinda the way the poem speaks to me.. at least thats as well as I can explain myself at *checks clock* 4:24am.
As for my fav part:
