I am in the panhandle of Texas and we get extremes of weather. Yesterday it was 69F and clam. Today we have already had 3 inches of snow and expect 3 more. It is 26F and we have whiteout conditions with 20 MPH winds. By Monday we should be back to 60 or so.

I am not an expert in fractals..but there are some terrific fractalists on DA. they may be able to guide you to specific software and tutorials etc.
Its worth a try!!!
