I've been doing fake anime screencaps lately. They're a fun exercise, especially if you try to incorporate the original artist's style with modern anime practices, although completely mimicking a current anime's style is challenging too.
What better series to practice with than 666 Satan, which never got an anime of its own - and probably never will? This is one of my favourite scenes, where Ruby takes charge. She shoots at a tiny, moving moving target whilst balanced precariously on top of a one-wheeled motorcycle. And hits! She's so cool!
Doing backgrounds is the best part of these since I need the practice. The perspective is terrible here but it was good to try it.
