Here's a the complete Surrach map, combining both the West and East portions of the map together, reoriented so that they can both fit on an A2 size (exactly twice the area of the normal A3 size I use for the Atlas Maps).

Anyone interested in checking out any of the entries for the map can look at the Encyclopaedia Excerpt for the Surrach maps .

I've added a partial key so that the map can be enjoyed by itself, since it will not be a part of the Atlas Elyden since it's too big (A2 instead of A3).

Excellent work stitching the map together and adding the key.

looks great, but for some reason i my brain is both annoyed and amused as i can't really find a proper angle to look at this as the outer border says its fine as it is... then the grid wants me to tilt it one way, while the thicker degree lines makes me want to tilt it the other way, then there's the myriad of slanted writing that throws even more confusion in the mix.

its a bit of a busy map, but i do enjoy all the little details and how it looks overall

i think i know what you mean. generally in atlases the map is oriented to take up as much area of the page as possible, with one of the lines of longitude being vertical - in the case of this map that is 84O west, which happens to be right on the left of the map - making the right hand side tilt upwards. I usually try to make the vertical line of longitude as much in the middle as possible but the large area of the map made it difficult with this one.

The curved are always written to be parallel to the lines of latitude, and again, due to the vertical line of longitude being so far to the left, the words tend to be more diagonal the farther to the right you get.

it makes sense for sure, just awkward to see the grids and patterns tilt away and seeing multiple angled elements trying to take the foreground, as for the writing, i meant things like the writing of bodies of water, mountains and other areas that make the text angled, slanted and follow strange patterns because of what they represent/cover.

as i said, a lovely map, but busy and there is a lot going on, with the text having various angles there's a lot of ways to read the map.
